Student Driver....Nervous Family!

We were driving down the highway several months ago and saw a van with this message written on the windows: "Student Driver-Nervous Mom, Please Be Patient!"
Well, change the "mom" to "family" and that describes us today!
Seth has been taking drivers training and just got his pink slip.
Soooo.....today he drove to the auction hall with Mom making use of her back seat drivers license!! We were holding our breaths, but the go cart/tractor/gator/lawn mower driver of how many years did just fine. I'm sure he did better than I will!! He is such the opposite of me...when I was fourteen/fifteen, I wanted my license sooo bad! Now, I don't really care to get my license. Dad has been after me to get it for the last few months so I suppose I will need to get it before the summer is out, but there was no holding Seth back! He says he is going to be at Secretary of State the minute they open on his sixteenth birthday...I believe he will be!
That was our little adventure today, that and trying to finish a really, really big auction before next Saturday...we've never not gotten done before but there's a first for everything!

Although scary, this is an exciting time for Seth and your family!

We just finished a year of Emily getting enough hours to take her road test,,,,she just got her license last week and feels like a free bird! Liz just got her beginners license and now has to work on completing her hours before she can take segment two and her road test. I completely understand the nervousness of everyone in the car. It is hard but God is in control. Prayers are said before the key even goes into the ignition. Seth will do just fine and before you know it, will be the new family chauffer. :)

Congrats to Priscilla!

Congratulations Seth! You have a level head, and your Mom won't need her "back seat driver's" license for long! I was nervous when the boys started driving;but I soon relaxed.... they have quicker reaction time than I,and pretty good judgement, and it was nice not to have to drive them everywhere..
God has protected us from major accidents, for which we are very grateful!!

With Seth's experience, he will be a great driver!
