2 cups flour
2 cups of sugar (The recipe called for white sugar, which I didn't have, so I used brown and it tasted wonderful!)
2 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1 cup strong coffee or hot water
Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
Bake at 350* for 35-38 minutes
I didn't want to make frosting so I sprinkled powdered sugar on top. I'm not really fond of frosting because its so sweet. Powdered sugar adds just enough without overpowering my taste buds!!
This cake is really moist and rich. I love how smooth and chocolaty it is. I think this recipe is going in my favorite recipe folder!
