On Saturday, Levi and Lydia went to the state rabbit show in Lansing with Nancy. Since it was a pick up day at our auction, Mom couldn't take them so she met Nancy in Flint at six a.m. and the kids went the rest of the way with her. They took all eight of their rabbits and.....did really well! Lydia got a trophy for best of breed. Her rabbit Kenny was the best Dutch at the show that day and her rabbit Nancy got best of variety.
Levi won best of variety, best of the torte color, with his rabbit Tonto.
They were both really pleased, Levi has shown a couple times before and this was Lydia's first show. Nancy was a big help to them. Most of their rabbits came from her, the three that won all came from her.
Mom and Dad drove down after pick up that night and got back around 10 p.m. I don't know the time for sure because I gave up and went to bed!!
