I am happy that the snow is here for more than one reason, but mostly because it's given me some great pictures! I'm very glad we moved to our new house when we did because the new yard has given me lots of opportunities for great pictures during my two favorite seasons.
Picking a favorite this week was really easy...I love the one of the sheep! I can just picture it framed and hanging on someone's wall. Most of these girls are pregnant so we should be seeing some babies before long. I can't wait to get pictures of them :) I recently met a man who does picture matting and framing and he has offered to teach me. I have been toying with the idea of possible printing some of my nicer pictures. I got an 18x24 of the sheep picture and the one of Dad and Seth plowing printed yesterday and even at that large size, they look great. I can't wait to see how they turn out!
I also like the next picture (it reminds me of something on the ocean floor) and the one of Rio squinting against the snow.
Can you find the sleeping man face in the picture of the stones!?
A couple months ago I did a guest post on Photo Friday where  my friend Denalyn shared some of her pictures with us. She invited me to do a guest post on her blog and it went live today! Click here to see the post.

Yes, love the sheep picture. It looks like it should be framed, for sure. All the others are neat too.

I think the sheep picture is probably my favorite photo of the year. I'm hoping to have it framed shortly and will post pictures when its finished :)

A lovely set of pictures and, as usual, displaying your skill of seeing something in the smaller details of a scene. I saw the sleeping man straight away among the stones. I don't have a favourite on this occasion, to pick any one out devalues the rest. The snow certainly offers opportunities but I hope you avoid the terrible snow in the USA that we've been seeing on the TV news.

I'm very glad you enjoyed them! And I wouldn't have noticed the sleeping man if you hadn't mentioned it!
We have avoided the big storms so far. We only got a couple inches and with the warmer temperatures the last few days, that is all gone now. I'm sure it will be back soon!

The one of the snow and sheep is my favorite. :) We had some snow. About 2 inches. But it was pretty when it came down.
Yep, I saw the man sleeping. And I also saw the rock trying to wake him up. ;) Did you see that?

Yes, I loved watching the snow as it was coming down. It came down thick and heavy for awhile!
No, I hadn't seen the rock trying to wake him up...but I do now!

I do like the sheep as well- those girls are such girls... all the photos are great and yes I do see the sleeping man, but is that a very large cat next to him? haha- so you already got some snow--- your new home is cozy- you should try a calendar theme-- you have soooo many great photos-

I haven't been able to spy the cat yet, but I'll keep looking! We have some vivid imaginations!!
I have thought about doing calendars, greeting cards etc. but we'll have to take it one step at a time!
