Without the Savior this life is a puzzle

Of shattered hopes and dreams;

An unfinished picture with ill-fitting pieces

To add to the meaningless scene.

 

Hearts that are broken by Him who has spoken,

Will understand His will;

Jesus stands ready to fit all the pieces.

He bids us to trust and be still.

 

Broken and blessed when He does the mending,

And fit for service true;

Contrite and willing, all to His glory;

A picture completely new.
