While we had her in the house, we put a diaper on her to avoid any messes. She didn't like it very much and kept hopping around trying to get it off! Finally I took it off and just watched her carefully. She is napping again now, but I expect her to be up soon wanting another bottle!
When we got home I put Sabriyah in a box to take a nap. When she got up an hour or two later I took her out to the barn with me to get straw for the playpen we put in the garage. She followed me down there and back up. When we got back in, she was hungry!! Having nursed on mom, she wasn't used to the bottle but the first feeding session went well. She figured it out pretty fast. While we had her in the house, we put a diaper on her to avoid any messes. She didn't like it very much and kept hopping around trying to get it off! Finally I took it off and just watched her carefully. She is napping again now, but I expect her to be up soon wanting another bottle! My photo gallery option is FINALLY working! Just as I was about to publish this post, someone started yelling that the horses were out!! Oh brother! I grabbed a shawl and my boots and ran out the door. By the time we got out there, they were about a 1/4 mile back the farm lane. I started calling for them and there they came...to us...and past us! They ran across the road to Grandpa's and thankfully, one of his pasture gates was open so they ran in there and we were able to catch them. Always an adventure!

We love all your posts!!! Happy BD to your Mom. Are you going to have to build a new kitchen for all her new cooking tools?

Glad you are enjoying the posts. I'll tell Mom you said happy birthday. We might have to build a new kitchen! Lydia has been getting more interested in cooking and baking lately and the kitchen has been feeling a bit snug with three of us tripping over each other!!

...how very very cute-- in the last photo little goat looks like a miniature calf... the markings are great. We have a cat that has those same type of markings....
