Below are pictures of my party and some of the ice as the sun was shining on it this afternoon.
Today was my 18th birthday! Mom and Dad did a lot to make this day special. I had a great party with Grandma, Grandpa, my great aunt Marilyn and my friend Kristina. I got WAY too many gifts! I collect opalescent glassware and Grandma got me a lovely bowl for my collection. I also collect red and white speckleware and I got many pieces of this to add to my growing assortment. Seth wrapped his gift...a gift card...in about twenty layers of wrapping paper and plastic bags. This caused much merriment as I spent several minutes trying to reach the gift! We ate plenty of cake and ice cream and had a good time. Mom and Lydia made me three beautiful heart shaped cakes...we'll be eating cake for a long time!
