We made a meal by putting a biscuit in a bowl, covering it with rice, then browned hamburger and topping it with white sauce. It was really good!
Several requests for more recipe posts came back through the survey...so here's one for the chefs! Mix 4 C. flour, 5 Tsp. baking powder, 1 Tsp. salt and 2 Tbl. white sugar. Chop up 1 C. butter or two sticks and cut into flour mixture to make course crumbs. Add 2 1/2 C. milk a little at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir until it is sticky. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheets and bake for 12 minutes at 450*. The finished product! These biscuits were very tasty. We made a meal by putting a biscuit in a bowl, covering it with rice, then browned hamburger and topping it with white sauce. It was really good!
