I was able to get out and get some new pictures for this week, but before we get into those...I made a website for my photography!
It is called "Original Photo Art By Lauren" and all of the pictures on the Gallery page are available for purchase as prints in five sizes!!
Now for some new shots...
Picture
My favorite this week is the oak leaf resting on ice and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Oh wait a minute...that's snow! It almost looks good enough to eat!
I also like the birch bark rolled up like a scroll.
What's your favorite this week?

The pictures that I have framed we took to the auction hall for the public days this week. I haven't sold any yet, but a lot of people were commenting on them :)

The bark rolled up like a scroll is my favorite. It's very cool. =)

Congratulations on your Picture Shop Lauren. I love both the fence pictures and the leaf one is pretty neat too. It really does look like powdered sugar :)

...yum- I'll have a piece of that leave on ice w/powdered sugar---hmmm- I like quiet a bunch- I like the delicate berries w/standing the cold and meshed w/the wire fence- those contrasts are inspiring to me---they tell a story- at least in my minds eye- lol- I also like the birch scroll, also the one under it- what ever that plant is--- it's having a bad hair day- or maybe good hair day--- thanks as always for keeping us intrigued w/your work- I look forward to checking out your photos- xo p.s. checked out your other site- Ashwin just captures my heart.

Aunt Dona,
I told the story of you and Ashwin to some friends the other day...how amazing it was that he came up and greeted you because he does not like strangers....they were touched!

I really like the top picture of the "sugared leaf," but I think the one which intrigues me the most is the fence picture. I'm not sure why, but fences like this always seems to interest me and I feel a story tugging at my brain when I look at it. May not ever write it, but it's there anyway. :)

If you ever do write an old fence story, I'd love to read it :)

Your "seeing eye" has been busy here and I really like what you've produced. Some lovely textures and colours, my favourite is the leaf below the ice. Are there any fish in the lake? Catchable sizes I meant, it looks a nice lake to fish in.

Thank you, David :) I had fun with these pictures.
There are some fish, but mostly sun fish. It's a rather small pond. We have three other ponds that have lots of fish, bass, sun fish, blue gill and pike.
