Greenfield Village

On Saturday we went to Greenfield Village for the civil war reenactment. It was quite the experience! I really enjoyed it, there was so much to see and do, and having all the people in period clothing was great. We got to see skirmishes between the Confederates and the Yankees and a calvary demonstration. I took nearly 1500 pictures. Some of them I will share in this post and the best ones I will save for Photo Friday, but I think I will have to do a special, one time post titled Photo Tuesday!

It was fun! Thank you! My grandma Linda got me this dress a few years ago and I love it. It is looking pretty worse for the wear so I had a lady make me a pattern so I will be able to make more of the same dresses. I had several people comment on it at the reenactment.
